Worldbuilding that lives on blockchain

Experimental Worldbuilding
powered by AI and blockchain

“That sounds rather quaint…”

Wordbuilding?

The project uses worldbuilding as a method and medium to explore ideas about novel systems of governance, aesthetics, ethics, predictions etc.

Elimination of biases in combination of semi-random guidance through mathematical and symbolic structures should open a path to “emergent novelty”.

This WORLDBUILDING sandbox offers
a way to generate narratives to produce robust data structures.

Blockchain?

As a solo developer, I use AI to help me craft visuals and navigate through the complex systems.

Mostly, I use Stable Diffusion
(open source visual AI) locally to have
full control over the creative output.
Blender is my tool for 3D.

Dialogues and ideas (driven by math and symbolic frameworks such as I Ching or tarot) are tested by LLMs to consciously avoid biases and limitations of our minds.

AI of course(!)

Blockchain allows for a completely new treatment of digital content. With this technology, it is possible to think about digital ownership and the origin of the data.

I aim to use TOKENS to represent an evolution of characters, places and stories. Any participant of this theatric venture can affect what happens with their stories.

You can think of this as a digitalized
Dungeons and Dragons experience
that can be tracked and evolved by
the participants of the collective worldbuilding.

Project Origin

This project began as a gallery art project
one year before I put together this weird animation experiment in 2020:

A detailed outdoor notice board covered with various sketches, handwritten notes, character illustrations, and landscape paintings, all pinned on a black background. The board is set against a yellow and beige wall.

See the worldbuilding in progress:

People standing in front of a display board with handwritten notes, sketches, and images, next to a yellow wall.
A digital infographic titled 'Lecos: World of Many Things' depicting interconnected game elements, including tiers and categories such as open world, culture, character, quest, danger, puzzle, and adventure.
A digital, futuristic scene featuring a large hallway with classical architecture, computer monitors displaying code, and a bright light at the end of the corridor. The text 'Window number 1' is visible at the bottom.
