What is blockchain?

It is a digital list where each item represents a change in data (it can also be a link to an image or a piece of broader code, etc.). Moreover, this list is cleverly encrypted, immutable and also shared (i.e. decentralised) between the participants of the blockchain.
The fact that it is shared also verifies that everyone has the same record, so this (combined with the fact that each block of data contains a cryptographic reference to the previous block) guarantees, among other things, the immutability and transparency of operations.
This is what allows a completely new treatment of digital content. One example for all: I can sell my digital image and if it is on the blockchain, there will always be a trace that it was created by me. So I can also receive commissions on all future transactions with this digital content of mine. This in itself is extremely appealing to artists who will never lose the market potential of their creations this way.
Overall, anything digital can be gamified in this way, which has huge potential that is still untapped.
Tezos ecosystem
For this experimental project I chose Tezos crypto currency and ecosystem. The main reason is that it is lesser known (compared to ETH) and thus less subject to scammy actors.
That’s also a reason it attracted very genuine people, who care about ART & INNOVATION. Also it is fast and reliable.
