• Participatory

Token nature potentially gamifies all interaction of the generated content with each participant, giving rise to a new “building block” within the ziggurat rules. The new piece is automatically incorporated into the next creation and can be modularly grasped by whoever wants to explore it.

• Tokenization

Tokenization on the blockchain allows data to be passed on to the next iterations in an evolutionary way. But it can also foster a certain personal relationship to the unique digitized information.

• (of the) Dream

Surreal or even psychedelic fiction purposefully resists mechanistic and nominative tendencies. It is also another way to avoid bias.

• World

Worldbuilding is an ideal approach for gradually exploring all the nooks and crannies of existence and the possibilities of interpreting patterns from different angles.

• (for the) Purpose

aim to provoke emergent novelty from the sheer multiplicity of data and interconnected events that have emerged through the systematic combination of elements with a predetermined structure, drawing on geometry, tarot and other layers.

• (of) Innovative

Just as a book delivers a different experience than a movie, could there be a similar parallel for a deeper, almost literary form of digital game without an algorithm? This project develops an environment for a new type of medium where the memory or experience becomes an almost tangible part of a larger whole.

• Narrative

Using atmosphere, a symbol or some narrative form can shift any pretty little thing into a compelling painting. The added value can be pushed further, and if, moreover, such a work has a predestined use; if it is not “just for looking at” – only then the art of this millennium is truly timeless.

• Creation

Fleeting impressions and the experience of seeing visual art alone are no longer enough. Can one be part of the chain of creation? If the possibility exists, why not participate in the creation of a new world? Let’s create, let’s not be just passive observers.

• (with a) Meritocratic

In addition to the fact that this project is to investigate emergent phenomena of non-existent societies, one can also look for a kind of “fitness function” for different cultural domains as data accumulates. In other words, can this pseudo-theatre be elevated to a “sense-making apparatus”? Is it possible to find the “raison d'être” in the data depths of a fictional system?

• Overlay

Provocation of emergent phenomena out of the sheer multitude of data emerging precisely to search for previously unrecognized new contexts: this is the main overlap. Virtually infinite inspiration through controlled randomness is another overlap, and the individual unique value for each participant must not be overlooked as well.
